Description
Gamma7 is a complete Industrial PC with a VMEbus interface which satifies the specific requirements of industrial applications:
* watchdog timer function for monitoring the local software and hardware
* voltage and temperature monitoring
* NMI timer for real-time operating under Windows and other RT-OS like VxWorks
The modulare upgrade options and the ruggedness of the VME technology guarantee safe and reliable use in the harshest of environments. Economical I/O boards or supplementation with fieldbus modules enable local and remote extensions. 
The expansion of the Gamma7 itself via an ISA bus adapter is provided independently of the VMEbus interface so that standard ISA bus boards (e.g. SCSI bus masters) can be operated. Alternatively, PC/104 boards can be employed via another adapter.
By using Gamma7 you have all the benefits of working with a PC, also with the VMEbus, as well as a wide range of standard application software and development tools. VME PCs are your ideal interface between the VMEbus and the operator. Take advantage of all that Windows has to offer in visual displays, data-base evaluation and networking
